Rear Disc Brake Kit for EZGO LIFTED Electric Golf Carts 1982+

SKU: PK2011

Includes (1) Rear Disc Brake Kit (both sides) for EZGO electric LIFTED Golf Carts 1982+ (Except RXV). This kit is specifically designed to work on LIFTED EZGO electric golf carts, as the kit includes special brake cable extensions.

PLEASE NOTE: The electric RXV model does not have brake cables or out-board drum brakes. The motor brake is bolted onto the driver side of the motor proper and does not use any brakes cables at all.

If you have a non-lifted cart, or one with a factory 4" lift, you will need to purchase the EZGO NON-Lifted 1982+ Electric Rear Disc Brake Kit

.  20% more braking power to handle heavy loads, bigger wheels and higher speeds
.  45% more holding power to park heavier vehicles with bigger tires on steeper grades
.  33% longer lining life for fewer pad changes and less maintenance

This kit requires 10" wheels or larger to be installed on your cart. To have better brakes, it requires a more robust and thus larger system. This kit will not fit inside an 8" wheel, there is simply not enough room. Please plan accordingly

Please Note: There may be a chance that your wheels will not fit over calipers. There is NO way for us to know that. These recommendations are from Ausco. The only option is larger offset wheels.

Quick and easy to install. Uses existing cable system. Open design allows easy visual inspection and pad changes.

Electric carts have a smaller spline (24 spline) and Gas carts have a larger spline (30 spline).  It is important that you know the size of the spline before purchasing this kit. Some electric carts may have the larger spline and gas carts could have a small spline. Please verify before ordering. We do not know what spline size you need, therefore, we send what you order.

Installation by a trained mechanic is highly recommended. We do not offer technical support.

Added information: The new 72-volt EZGO electric golf carts seem to have the 30-spline (Gas Cart)  Please verify this on your golf cart before ordering.
