This spring is a critical safety and mechanical component in the vehicle's accelerator assembly.
Its primary purpose is to pull the accelerator pedal back to its original resting position immediately after the operator lifts their foot off the pedal. This ensures that the vehicle stops accelerating and safely drops down to idle or cuts off power when not actively being driven.

There are different accelerator springs. Please know which one is needed prior to ordering.

Using the wrong spring will result in either a loose pedal that fails to fully disengage the microswitches, or an overly stiff pedal that strains the throttle linkage.
