A front axle weldment is a heavy-duty, structural metal component that forms the main body or supporting frame of a vehicle or machine's front axle. It is called a "weldment" because it is fabricated by welding together multiple smaller metal pieces—such as steel tubes, brackets, gussets, and plates—into a single, high-strength unit rather than casting it as a single piece of iron.
